ग्राम ओड़गांव निवासी नवीन नुरूटी के खलिहान में बीते बुधवार को अवैध देशी शराब का निर्माण विभिन्न आधुनिक सामाग्रियों के साथ 1 कट्टा महुआ, लगभग 500 लीटर अवैध महुए की शराब, लगभग 7 ड्रम महुआ डूबा हुआ; आबकारी विभाग द्वारा जप्त किया गया। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार उक्त जगह से अवैध शराब की सप्लाई आस-पास के विभिन्न जगहों जैसे डौंडी, दल्लीराजहरा, बालोद, गुंडरदेही, गुरुर क्षेत्र में होने की जानकारियां प्राप्त हो रही है। मुख्य आरोपी नवीन नुरूटी अपने मजदूरों के साथ फरार है।
उपरोक्त कार्यवाही आबकारी विभाग द्वारा ग्रामवासियों, पंचगणों की उपस्थिति में हुआ
ग्रामीणों के कथानानुसार इससे पहले भी कई बार आबकारी व नजदीकी पुलिस विभाग से इस सम्बंध में शिकायत किया गया था; लेकिन हर बार पुलिस प्रशासन की उदासीनता के कारण आरोपी बचकर अपना कार्य पुनः करने लग जाता था। जिसके कारण आस-पास आपराधिक प्रवृत्ति के लोग पनपने लगे है अतः पुलिस प्रशासन व आबकारी विभाग से ग्रामीणजन अनुरोध करते है कि आरोपी पर इस बार कड़ी से कड़ी कार्यवाही हो।
कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते प्रदेश के शराब दुकानें बंद होने के बाद से जिला में आए दिन शराब माफियाओं के द्वारा मंदराजो को ऊंचे दामों पर सुरा का सेवन करा कर मोटी और काली कमाई की बेहतर विकल्प कुछ संरक्षणधारी माफीयाओ के द्वारा आजमाया जा रहा है, जिसकी सूचना पाते ही पुलिस प्रशासन कार्यवाही के बाद आबकारी विभाग भी कार्यवाही कर रहा है। वहीं गुरूर थाना क्षेत्र में भी अवैध सुरा सेवन कराने वाले लोगों को गुरूर पुलिस ने धर दबोचा है और उनके ऊपर कानुनी कारवाही की गई है।
ज्ञात हो कई कि बालोद जिला; शराब के अवैध कारोबार के लिए प्रदेश स्तर पर पहले से ही मशहूर है जिनको राजनीतिक और प्रशासनिक संरक्षण भी मिलता रहा है जिसके चलते अवैध कारोबारियों का हौसले बुलंद हैं।
