राजधानी। कांग्रेस नेता आफताब आलम ने कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के चलते प्रदेश की स्थिति को बखूबी सम्हालने पर मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल, स्वास्थ्य मंत्री टीएस सिंहदेव और प्रभारी मंत्री मो. अकबर की प्रशासनिक दक्षता का ही परिणाम है कि राजनांदगांव कोरोना मुक्त जिला घोषित हुआ है। 
श्री आलम ने महापौर हेमा देशमुख और कलेक्टर जेपी मौर्य को भी इस सफलता के लिए साधुवाद दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण से निपटने के लिए ठोस उपाय किए गए, जबकि केंद्र सरकार की लापरवाही के कारण कोरोना से स्थिति विपरीत हो गई। बिना तैयारी लॉकडाउन किए जाने से मजदूर और गरीब तबका आज परेशानी से जूझ रहा है।
श्री आलम ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने देश की जनता को ऐसी कठिन परिस्थिति में सिर्फ दीया जलाने और थाली बजाने जैसे उलुलू-जुलूल फरमान जारी किया था, जबकि प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री बघेल ने दीया के बजाय गरीबों के चूल्हा जलाने की चिंता की। यह बहुत दुर्भाग्यजनक है कि प्रदेश के चिकित्सकों के लिए केंद्र द्वारा प्रदेश को मात्र सौ कीट भेजे गए। इसके बावजूद भी प्रदेश की कोरोना वारियर्स ने अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर संक्रमण को रोकने का प्रयास किया है। नतीजतन प्रदेश की स्थिति आज नियंत्रित है।
